Lower Saxony Innovation Award

Yesterday we received the Lower Saxony Innovation Award under the motto SAAT?GUT!

In the categories “Economy”, “Cooperation” and “Vision”, the prize honours outstanding achievements and success stories from Lower Saxony. It is intended to honour those who have committed themselves to innovation and success. The prizes were awarded under the patronage of Lower Saxony’s Minister of Economics, Dr. Bernd Althusmann, and Lower Saxony’s Minister of Science, Björn Thülmer. The winning projects in the three categories each received 20,000 euros.

Yesterday evening, Dr. Bernd Althusmann presented us with the award for the category “Economy”. More than 100 people from politics, business and the start-up scene came together in Hannover City Hall to congratulate the winners and exchange ideas on the topic of innovation. The jury was convinced by our seed treatment for corn, grain and vegetables, which increases the germination rate, effectively supplies the growing plant with the right nutrients and reduces water requirements. We are very pleased with this financial support, which will help us enormously in expanding our company. Above all, the prize shows the importance that sustainable agriculture has acquired among the general public.

The Lower Saxony Innovation Network praises SeedForward’s importance for the state of Lower Saxony: “In the context of the current land use challenges in Germany, particularly in the Weser-Ems region, SeedForward is positioning itself as a solution provider in the area of EU complaints concerning nutrient management, soil degradation and EU bans on chemical pesticides (as seed dressing and plant protection).

We would like to thank the Innovation Network of Lower Saxony and the business development institutions of our city and district for their recognition, especially our long-time supporter Siegfried Averhage. Many thanks also to our sponsors of the Aloys and Brigitte Coppenrath Foundation and DresInvest.

We also congratulate the winners in the category “Vision” from minds GmbH i. G. and in the category “Cooperation” from MID solutions GmbH.
